The front line from left to right consists of Jordan on drumkit wearing a white T-shirt, vocalist Grace Conner wearing a pink top, and Dal the Tabla Jedi, wearing all black. Behind them is a string quartet (standing), then two synth / percussionists one of whom is wearing a frog hat. Jordan is holding a crank handle, which would rotate the cylinder against the material to create the noise of the wind. Jordan is wearing a white polo shirt with the Milton Primary School logo on its chest in blue, and with black trousers. The floor is white and grey tiles, but the background is distinctly beige - wall, radiator and vertical blinds. There is offcut wood behind him, along with a selection of woodworking tools.

Jordan Ashman, aged 10, is standing behind his home-made timpani with his sticks resting on the skin. The timpani body is made from uncoated and opaque fibreglass, with three metal legs beneath it. The counter hoop stretching the head into tune is made from glulam (glued laminated timber), and is tightened using metal bolts attached to pullies, three of which are visible. Jordan is wearing a skyblue hoodie with the National Children's Orchestra logo and his name embroidered on the chest. The room has off-white walls and beige carpet, with the internal door wide open. There is lots of clutter surrounding him, including wooden offcuts, a tape measure, pencil, and needle files.

Home-made Xylophone:

Central to the photo is a home-made xylophone, with its longest (lowest) notes closest to the camera and shorted (highest) ones further away. It is made from ash wood, and evidence of sandpaper and tools are visible on the table to the left of the photo. Jordan Ashman, aged 9, is standing to the right of the xylophone, playing it with two rubber-headed mallets, but facing the camera with a happy smile. He is wearing a white short-sleaved football shirt with red flashing around the collar, and dark trousers. A music book is propped up to the left, showing Prelude by Kevin Hathaway. To the right of the image are a Nintendo Wii guitar and drum kit. In the background, between silver curtains, a grassy garden contains a child's climbing frame, and leads to a conifer hedge in the distance.
